Learn with Abby: Couples classes or 1 to 1 classes

Due to Covid-19 and to allow for safe social distancing measures, I am currently offering three types of jewellery classes:

-Couples class: ideal for couples who would like to make each other’s wedding rings or a love token in a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere. 6 hours session costs £150 per person. Gold costs not included, to be discussed.

-Family class: make a piece in a day with a member of your family or a member of your household (2 people). 6 hours session costs £150 per person.

-One-to-one class: especially useful if you already have some jewellery making experience, and would like to explore a technique in further detail. 5 hours session costs £200.

An established maker with over 18 years’ experience of teaching both privately and in colleges, I teach in my studio in Lewes, East Sussex.

Classes taught in the workshop focus on traditional jewellery skills.  I offer a unique apprentice-style tuition tailored to individual ability . A closely guided, step-by-step approach aswell as hands-on support if necessary ensure you will complete a wearable piece of jewellery within the session.

We work in silver, gold and base metals and cover many techniques including metal marking, texturing, piercing, shaping, forging and sand casting.
