With so much uncertainty around in the UK and globally, like everyone else I have been struggling to focus on work, and move forward.
A recent email from a customer made my day, and I wanted to share the story of this inspiring commission with you.

Bespoke Verve ring in Rubelite and Tsavorite
Vicki sent me an image of her wearing her new ring, all colour coordinated with her outfit and such a lovely smile, and wrote:
“I am delighted, you have worked your magic, this ring suits me so well”
I met Vicki at Goldsmiths Fair in 2019, and we worked together remotely, speaking over video calls and sending the finished piece by mail to create this ring commission for her.

Vicki’s ring is a variation on a ring design created for Goldsmith’s Fair last year – The Verve ring is a modern take on the classic three stone cluster ring, using a zingy combination of pink rubelite and bright green tsavorite.
Held on a generous band of sterling silver, the gemstones are set in solid 18ct gold,using the rubover technique. This type of setting gives the design a modern look and is also very secure for everyday wear, as the stones are protected all around.
Vicki chose a marquise shaped rubelite, giving her ring a slender and feminine feel.
Vicki’s expression in the picture says it all, and I am just delighted she is delighted.
